Jiří Richtr

Jiří Richtr joined Patria Corporate Finance in March 2026 as a Senior Associate, where he is responsible for the origination and execution of M&A transactions.

Jiří has over 15 years of experience in M&A, having worked on a broad range of transactions across the Czech Republic and internationally. Selected transaction experience includes:

• the acquisition of a shopping centre in Rijeka, Croatia, by DRFG,
• the acquisition of Pražská teplárenská, a district heating company supplying approximately 250,000 households, by Veolia,
• the sale of a minority stake in Pražské vodovody a kanalizace to the City of Prague,
• the decarbonisation of the Přerov heating plant through an investment in a multi-fuel boiler.

Before joining Patria, Jiří held the position of Investment Manager at the DRFG fund, focusing on commercial real‑estate projects in Central Europe. Prior to that, he worked as an M&A Manager at Veolia, an energy and infrastructure company. At EY, he was involved in providing transaction advisory services with a focus on debt fundraising, company valuation, financial business modelling, and due diligence.

Jiří holds an Engineering degree from Brno University of Technology in Business Management and Economics, as well as a Master of Science degree from the University of London. He is also an ACCA certificate holder.
