Milan Svoboda
Milan Svoboda joined Patria in November 2025. He is a Director and is responsible for identifying and managing M&A transactions.
Milan has more than 18 years of experience in transaction advisory and deal making and has participated in several international projects. Some of the transactions he has supported include:
- sale of Webglobe to group.one in Sweden,
- sale of LITRA to a foreign investor,
- acquisition of Packeta (Zasilkovna) by Emma Capital (with CVC Capital Partners),
- acquisition of T-Systems Czech Republic and PLANET A (KUKI TV) by T-Mobile,
- sale of Olympia Brno shopping center,
- sale of EKOL to Shanngu (China),
- acquisition of Pacific Rim Engineered in Canada by Wikov,
- acquisition of HECHT MOTORS and other companies by Genesis Capital,
- acquisition of Libristo Media by Albatros Media,
- advisory for ČEZ regarding acquisitions of several energy, engineering, and IT companies,
- acquisition of IZOS by Heluz,
- acquisition of Alpha Medical / Aeskulab laboratories by Unilabs / APAX.
Before joining Patria, Milan worked for EY. He later served as Director of the Transaction Advisory department at BDO. He was also involved in launching the Kijonka family office, where he managed investment activities at JSK Investments.
Milan earned his engineering degree from the University of Economics in Prague and co-founded the Investors Club there. He has also participated in projects in the Balkans, Denmark, Germany, and Slovakia.
