Petr Dědeček is responsible for the management of the Patria Corporate Finance team and the most important projects for domestic and foreign clients in Corporate Finance (M&A, divestment, valuation and fairness opinion preparation).
Petr has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets (3 years in Komerční banka and 20 years in Erste Bank).
Previously, Petr worked in Corporate Finance at Erste Group, where he participated in major transactions of both local and regional character.
His most significant transactions include: advising a consortium of Borealis Infrastructure and Allianz Capital Partners on the acquisition of the Czech gas pipeline operator, Net4Gas;consulting the Czech power company ČEZ on many transactions and projects in the CEE region; advising Infracapital on the acquisition of the district heating company GGE; consulting owners of ZOOT on the entry of a minority investor into the company, etc. Petr also participated in the preparation of many valuations and fairness opinions. He has also gained experience in privatization transactions in the Czech Republic (Technoexport, Severočeské doly, VÍTKOVICE STEEL etc.) and other CEE countries, such as Romania, Slovakia or Serbia.
Petr is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of Patria Corporate Finance. He is a graduate of Czech Technical University in Prague where he received an engineering degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Engineering Company Management.
