Tomáš Adámek joined the team of Patria Corporate Finance at the end of summer 2019 as an Associate. He is responsible for the execution of end-to-end M&A transactions; both buy and sell side.
Before joining Patria, Tomas worked in Aakon Capital, Czech family office, for more than four years. Apart other things he was responsible for business strategy development at portfolio companies, managing investment process as well as seeking new M&A opportunities, mainly within the engineering, transportation and gastro industries. Prior to Aakon Capital, Tomas worked as a Junior Valuation Consultant in Apogeo Group. Currently, Tomas also holds the position of Member of the Supervisory Board of Investors Club, where he used to be in the position of President in years 2014-2015. Some notable transactions Tomas participated on include acquisition of industrial services company Šlechta, acquisition of producer of pharmaceutical products ARDEAPHARMA, or divestment of traditional distributor of agricultural machinery AGROZET České Budějovice.
Tomas graduated at the University of Economics in Prague, with focus on corporate finance and management. During the master studies, he spent one-semester at National Chengchi University (College of Commerce) in Taipei, where he took MBA courses.
